A fundamental requirement of VCE Economics is for students to utilise contemporary economic policies, issues, events, factors and data – with some specifically drawn from the last two years. Students must underst and and critically, be able to apply contemporary examples. They must be able to analyse economic relationships and factors and the achievement of economic goals through the interpretation of data, graphical trends, patterns and other information. Tom Hawkins delivers in details his approach to ensuring his VCE Economics students are not only abreast of current economic examples, but also know how and when to use them in responding to assessment questions.
